About us

Demand Logic is an award winning company on a mission to get buildings working better.

Our platform streams real-time data from the controls systems of big commercial buildings. We use pioneering modelling, analytics and visualisations to focus users on key performance issues that can otherwise go unnoticed for years.

We are transforming the way property manages can manage their buildings. Our customers love how our software helps them to save serious amounts in energy and maintenance costs while improving the comfort and well-being of building occupants.

The role

Our platform makes extensive use of data visualisation, and you will work closely with the CTO, senior developers and design lead to improve the way we help our users make sense of massive data sets.

In the next year, we plan to refresh the DL platform front-end, and establish a front-end pattern library and design system. You will play a crucial role in achieving these goals.

In addition to the day-to-day of keeping libraries up to date, establishing a process of continuous UI improvements and staying on top of browser quirks, you’ll work with the product discovery team to prototype new features in code.

You will get to influence the development process with the freedom to deploy your tools of choice, within the context of the existing frameworks. For example, we know enough about React to know that we like it, but we’re looking to you to lead us in its use.

This is an incredible time to be working in our field and Demand Logic is beautifully placed to shape the change. Join our talented and inspiring team and you will play a crucial role in making a real difference.

About you

We’re looking for a persistent and patient developer who has great experience to share. You’ll pay attention to detail and be proud to have your code and your apps seen by others. You will be a good communicator (including on chat and video) and be great at managing tasks.
