He has designed and delivered controls systems for multi-million pound installations, including for major banks, covering business-critical systems. Mike leads all our engineering and energy efficiency work and provides consultancy support for clients.
William Hulls

Will has over a decade of experience working in the Property & FM sector; working in a variety of roles including Sales and Operations. He has developed a deep knowledge of the sector, clients' requirements and the foundations of a strong commercial delivery. Will developed a keen interest in the Smart Buildings environment and a passion for moving the industry towards a more analytical and modern data-led approach. Calling on his experience in the sector, Will provides valuable insights for our clients to create solutions to support their business.
Dal Mauger

Dal is a part qualified (CIMA) Management Accountant with a background spanning 20+ years in the NHS, with roles in credit control, patient admissions, and for the most part, a lengthy career in accounting (at Barts and later UCLH). Dal has a BA (Hons) in Accounting, and has joined the DL team as a Finance Manager providing HR and admin support.
Dan Mauger

Dan is an experienced developer of enterprise information and ecommerce systems and has an MSc in Information Systems from City University for which he won a departmental award. Dan leads on the development of Demand Logic's core software, from the underlying data management engines to the front-end web application.
Joe Short

Joe is a clean-tech innovator and advocate who has worked for over 25 years in the sustainability sector, both in campaign organisations and start-ups. He has a degree in physics/philosophy from York University, trained in journalism at Reuters, has an MSc in renewable energy technology and a masters in sustainable development. Before co-founding Demand Logic, he successfully promoted demand response in policy and Parliament. At Demand Logic he leads on innovation, science and machine learning, as well as working on design, communications and development.
Nick Smith

Nick is an engineer and chartered accountant (ACA) having qualified with PwC before working in senior commercial roles in the energy industry. More recently he has held corporate development, commercial and operational roles at cleantech start-ups involved in atmospheric water generation and green logistics. He combines his technical and commercial backgrounds to understand the operational and business needs of our current and future partners.
Nils Toedtmann

Nils has been building and running open-source-based IT infrastructure for more than 25 years. He worked as a network engineer, software maintainer, server administrator, cryptographer, protocol analyst, Linux instructor and more. He finds patterns in noise and brings structure to chaos. At Demand Logic, Nils is responsible for our IoT infrastructure and data acquisition. He also helps Joe with our number crunching engine.

Holding a BEng in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Luke is fuelled by his fascination with buildings and their impact on society. In his role, Luke works to maximise the efficiency and sustainability of client's properties, utilising the powerful tools and data analysis capabilities of the platform. He envisions a future where technological innovation and sustainable practices create smart and inspiring buildings that lead society towards a more sustainable lifestyle.
Sam David

Sam David

Head of Product & Customer Success
Sam has a BSc in Physics and Astrophysics, and having worked in both a legal tech startup and a short stint in the insurance industry, he is now combining his development background with his account management and business aspirations at Demand Logic. His role is to support the onboarding of new accounts, provide customers with day-to-day operational support and assist the team with building performance analysis.
Mark Dullingham

Mark Dullingham

With 35 years' of experience in building services, Mark initially served as a mobile engineer before transitioning into BMS nearly two decades ago. In that time, he worked on many medium to large scale BMS and integration projects using leading BMS systems. For the last 5 years, Mark was the technical manager for a major independent BMS provider focusing predominately on the Tridium Niagara platform. Over his career, Mark has built up a wealth of knowledge on HVAC and controls systems which will be put to good use supporting our teams and customers alike.
Jack Greensted

Jack Greensted

Senior Business Development Manager
Jack has spent his career in Business Development, working in the SaaS, IT and Telecoms sectors, for multi-national companies through to start-ups. Over the last five years, he has been working in the Proptech market, helping both commercial and residential building teams to digitise their processes and change the way they serve their customers. He now is focused on helping the RE industry meet their ESG agenda through the use of the Demand Logic platform.
Daniel Hickman

Daniel Hickman

BMS Data Analyst
 
Daniel has a diverse background in heating and ventilation systems, control strategies and electronics repair. Before joining Demand Logic, he worked on strategies for major NHS controls upgrade projects, as well as commissioning newly built control panels and providing post-commissioning servicing and optimisation. Now as a BMS Data Analyst, Daniel bridges the gap between a site's BMS and the company's data model, highlighting where customers can save energy, money and carbon.
Duncan Howie

Trained as a marine engineer and with a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, most of Duncan’s working life has been associated with the construction industry and automated controls. From factories making bricks and tiles, to manufacturing AHUs and onto BMS project engineering, he then consulted with designers to improve users’ experience of the built environment. Frustrated by the ubiquitous poor performance of buildings and understanding the pressures around preparing them for occupation, Duncan is our commissioning project guru.
Tanya Kenny

After graduating with a BEng in Mechanical Engineering Alex started his career working in the fan motor industry. In this time he worked to improve both the efficiency and comfort of various HVAC units, through optimising designs and assisting with control strategies. Moving to Demand Logic, Alex is keen to apply this knowledge to help contribute to major reductions in energy use across the building sector.

Tanya has worked for nearly two decades on parliamentary campaigns focused on climate change and energy efficiency action. She joined Demand Logic because of their direct impact on reducing carbon emissions. She is passionate about climate justice and improving climate change and sustainability education in schools. She holds a MA in Globalisation and Development and spent several years teaching English in Thailand and Portugal.

Phil has been working in the IT Industry for over 30 years, being involved in large scale banking operations through to smaller mobile apps. Phil has worked on software development, and also project and program management for both software and IT infrastructure teams. In addition he has worked as a management and business consultant for small to medium sized businesses.

Josie took the non-traditional route into tech swapping a career in corporate comms for software development in 2021 via a tech bootcamp - who she was latterly hired by. Josie's keen interest in sustainability and ESG drove her move to Demand Logic, where she works full-stack adding new features, fixing bugs and improving the platform's UX.

Anthony's career began in technical design and digital manufacturing, where he became increasingly concerned with the unsustainable and non-circular materials and processes he worked with. This led him to enrol in an MSc in Environment and Sustainability, where he became acutely aware of the importance of decarbonising the built environment. His focus at Demand Logic is to help clients close the energy performance gap and reach their net zero targets.

Geoff is a chartered surveyor with over four years' experience in commercial property asset management where he worked with international property funds, property developers and family investors. During this time he developed an interest in occupier focused management initiatives and the role that smart building systems play in delivering this. Geoff brings a wealth of knowledge on the stakeholders who own, operate and occupy property and provides a pragmatic insight in how new technology solutions can benefit the industry.

Steve has been developing software in the environmental, social and governance sector for over 10 years with a special interest in energy and environmental sustainability, holding first class degrees in both BSc Computer Science and MSc Environmental Conservation Management. Steve is primarily focussed on enhancing and increasing Demand Logic's suite of data visualisation tools.

In a career spanning more than 20 years, Sam has been a SysAdmin, DevOps Engineer, Head Of Robots, Operations Engineer, Backend Engineer and is now an Infrastructure Engineer, automating everything he can get his hands on. He's has been playing with computers for far longer than he cares to recall, and when he’s not doing that he’s probably playing his drums.

Chris Stokesmore

After studying for a BEng in Electronics Engineering with Computer Science, Chris gained an MRes in Human Computer Interaction and became interested in the green tech sector. Since then he has worked for Cambridge University and startups within the sustainability and energy saving sector, developing multiple data visualisation, processing and storage systems for energy and behaviour information. Chris works on the platform and services infrastructure at Demand Logic.
Jon Wood

Jon has been working for technology startups since 2010, and tinkering with computers for as long as he can remember. He most recently worked as technical lead for a consumer IoT company which was acquired by a large corporate in 2021. He now works as a developer on the Data Acquisition team, with a focus on our Data Acquisition Device.
